This sabre was a private commission produced for the King’s Guard, Norway.

This design is our only reproduction of a modern military sabre. We made seventy of these sabres in total. The majority of these sabres were made for the King of Norway. Only a handful went into the hands of private collectors. They were made in the mid 1990’s working from an original sabre which was loaned to Raven Armoury by the Forsvarsmuseet in Oslo.
