He is a unique sculpture, individually handmade bone by bone in wax then cast into 925 sterling silver using the ancient art of lost-wax casting. After casting his bones have been carefully polished and once finished the silver was assayed and Hallmarked. Every step of the work is done by hand.
We have made him a small plinth from 2000 year old Roman oak.
Off the base he is 3 1/2″ tall x 1 3/4″ wide x 1 3/4″ deep.
Every skeleton is hand made and weights will vary slightly. They are typically around 5 oz – this chap weighs just over 5oz at 143 grams.
