Miniature Bronze Skulls, available in four finishes: Ancient, Darkened, Verdigris and Polished.
Totally hand-made in wax and lost-wax cast. Each skull is unique, scaled down from a real human skull with exceptional anatomical accuracy and detail. As with our full sized skulls, we have made a small pair of sculpted sockets to lock the mandible (lower jaw) to the skull – the sockets are inconspicuous and allow the jaw to be fixed to the skull yet still articulate. After casting the skull has been carefully finished by hand before being darkened, patinated or polished. These skulls are approximately one tenth life size. They have articulating jaws and are made with incredibly accurate anatomical detail – also available without the lower jaw.
Our Bronze skulls range from full size down to around one tenth – weighing from as much as twelve pounds down to an ounce.
