This piece was inspired by my sons who were avid skateboarders in their youth. Dropping in for the first time is an anxious moment – which we tried to capture here. Much like skateboarding, composing this piece in wax requires careful balance and patience. Each miniature skeleton sculpture is unique, individually handmade bone by bone in wax then cast into bronze using the ancient art of lost-wax casting. This is part of a limited edition of just 25 pieces. Available in Bronze and Silvered Bronze with Selective Plating.
