Generic 12th to 13th Century style medieval gothic sword.
The grip is English ash, with a wrap & stitch calf skin. The guard and pommel are forged in steel with a blackened, patinated finish. The pommel tapers from base to tip as is often seen on originals. The guard width is 19.5cm (7 11/16″) with the grip length being 14cm (5 1/2″). Blade steel is 80CrV2, hardened and tempered to 56RC. This sword is 3lbs and 6oz (1.55kg).
