Leaf-blade shortsword.
This sword has a broad blade in 80CrV2 with a pair of flutes just below the ricasso. The handle material is english ash, which has been bound in black calfskin with a wrap and stitch bind. Equipped with stainless steel fittings, the weight is 2lb and 11oz (1.22kg). The guard is 16cm wide (6 5/16″) with the grip length being 12cm (4 3/4″).
